After reading through her profile, Andrew quickly got the communication process rolling, and about a month later and many emails in between, they met for the first time in person on a date in Chicago on Sunday, August 26. They both knew that things were looking good for them when after a 8 hour first date, they both were really excited to see each other again, and soon! The following weekend Andrew helped her move to a new apartment in the city. Instead of helping Jessica move by himself, he also had the opportunity to meet both of her parents, Dennis and Joyce, as they came up from St. Louis for the weekend. Talk about a nervous second date! But nervousness aside, all went very well that day, and things continued to be amazing for Jessica and Andrew. On January 25, 2008, Andrew asked for Jessica's hand in marriage, and of course she said yes!! To help him out, he had two cupcakes made up with one having the words "Will you...", and the other saying "Marry me?". After they ate a great dinner together at her apartment, he brought out the two cupcakes on a plate and placed them on the table in front of her. Jessica only needed to see the "Will you..." cupcake before she became super excited and could hardly contain her anticipation of the time when Andrew pops the ultimate question. They both don't remember anything that was said, except of course for the answer...YES!!!!!
